In 2018, Drew Estate commemorated the 10th anniversary of the introduction of its tremendously popular Liga Privada line. To celebrate, Drew Estate released the Liga Privada 10 Aniversario series, the Toro vitola of which is presented here.
At six inches in length with a 52 ring gauge, the 10 Aniversario Toro is a medium-to-full-strength, medium-to-full-bodied, pigtail-capped cigar that affords a steady burn, excellent draw, and superior construction. Artfully assembled at Drew Estate’s La Gran Fabrica factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, the Liga Privada 10 Aniversario Toro is composed of Honduran, Nicaraguan, and Pennsylvanian Green River One Sucker Ligero fillers sealed by a Mexican San Andrés Otapan Negro Último Corte binder and surrounded by a Connecticut River Valley Criollo wrapper.
Wood and earth flavors are readily apparent, as are coffee beans, sweet fruit, and mixed pepper. Rich and complex, this cigar is a perfect example of the qualities that make Drew Estate’s Liga Privada line so acclaimed.
Available as single sticks or in boxes of 10, this series was originally limited to 1,000 boxes when it was first unveiled but was supplemented in 2022 with a small additional stock. It’s therefore unknown how long the supply of these smokes will hold out, so don’t wait to order yours today!
