In 2018, Drew Estate celebrated the 10th anniversary of its wildly popular Liga Privada line of cigars, and to mark the occasion, the brand introduced a new mini-family of smokes, the Liga Privada 10 Aniversario.
Making use of Honduran, Nicaraguan, and Pennsylvanian Green River One Sucker Ligero fillers, Mexican San Andrés Otapan Negro Último Corte binders, and Connecticut River Valley Criollo wrappers, this long-in-the-making series was initially produced in a limited edition of 1,000 boxes of just one vitola — a Toro — that was supplemented soon after with the introduction of a Robusto and in 2022 when an additional supply of 10 Aniversario cigars unexpectedly became available.
While the Toro variant is longer, the Robusto is thicker, but both are memorable for their complex flavors, outstanding richness, and medium-to-full strength. Both sticks feature a distinctive pigtailed cap and flat closed foot and are available individually or in boxes of 10.
