The Fuente family has been involved in the cigar business a very long time, Arturo Fuente originally began hand rolling cuban grown tobacco in Tampa Florida but bad luck struck in 1924 and Arturo Fuente's cigar making prowess was put on hold until 1940 where he and his family would roll cigars in the back of their home. By the 1950's Arturo Fuente and family would roll and sell their cigars around Florida as a side business after punching a clock on their day job. The Fuente Family has had many ups and downs, an embargo, an insurgent led overthrow of a government, but Carlos Fuente is a forward thinker and resilient, he was able to rebuild in the Dominican Republic crafting some of the most sought after cigars in the world.
