In 2006, Tatuaje founder Pete Johnson and Don Jose "Pepin" Garcia developed the tantalizing Havana VI. Known for its milk chocolate colored Nicaraguan Corojo 99 wrapper, a painstakingly formed cap and the elegant red label with white print, the tasty Tatuaje Havana VI comes in a range of six models or vitolas. These include the Almirante, Nobles, Aristas, Victorias, Angeles and Hermosos. Johnson is known to name his product lines in memory of his former pets. The first letters of these vitrolas spell the name of one of Johnson's dogs, Havana. These vitrolas range in length from 4.625 to 7 inches and a have a ring gauge ranging from 38-52. The Havana VI line is known for its smooth earthy flavor with just a hint of sweet chocolate. Additionally, Havana VI cigars are known for their excellent construction. Truly a Nicaraguan creation, the binder, the wrapper and the excellent blend of tobacco all hail from Nicaragua.
